Meet Nick Booher: Master Craftsman & Founder
Nick Booher’s journey in carpentry began long before he founded Booher Construction in 2014. Nick grew up immersed in the craft in Westmoreland County, PA, working alongside his father and grandfather, both skilled carpenters, from a young age. These formative experiences laid the foundation for his commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
Nick spent years honing his skills and mastering his craft after completing the rigorous Carpenter’s Union Apprenticeship program and achieving Journeyman status. In 2014, he launched Booher Construction LLC, initially focusing on custom deck construction. As his reputation for exceptional quality and reliability grew, so did requests for basement transformations. Recognizing the need for specialized basement expertise in the region, Nick expanded his business with Booher Basement Solutions.
Today, Nick oversees every basement project from initial consultation to final walkthrough, ensuring each transformation receives the same level of care and attention to detail that built his reputation.

What began as a custom deck construction company quickly evolved as Nick recognized a significant need in the community. Homeowners throughout Westmoreland County had basements with enormous potential but lacked a specialized contractor with the skills and vision to transform these spaces properly.
The expansion into Booher Basement Solutions was a natural progression, allowing us to focus exclusively on the unique challenges and opportunities basements present.
